Aditya Birla School-Bhubaneswar bids adieu to first outgoing Class XII Science, Commerce students

Bhubaneswar, Feb. 1: Upholding its glorious tradition of Aditya Birla group of schools’ bidding farewell to the outgoing batches, ABPS-Bhubaneswar organised a function to bid adieu to the first outgoing batch of Class XII Science and Commerce on January 28 last.
In this connection, the students of Class XII as well as the parents were invited to the amphitheatre of the school. The function began with the lighting of lamp and recitation of school prayer. The students class-XI welcomed the outgoing batch of class XII in a traditional way with tilak and bouquet.
In his address the Principal, Mr. L. N Dash thanked Dr. S. Ganguli, Group Advisor-Education for his constant support to the school. It was on 5th March 2017, 101st birth anniversary of legendary leader Biju Babu, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik inaugurated Aditya Birla Public School Bhubaneswar in the presence of Padma Bhushan Rajashree Birla, Chairperson of Aditya Birla Centre for Community Initiatives and Dr. Santrupt Mishra, Director-HR of Aditya Birla Group.
The Principal, Mr. Dash presented mementos to all the students of class XII. Later, in his address he spoke about the responsibilities that lies on the shoulder of the future citizens of the country.
He also focused on the values that the Aditya Birla group caters and asked the students to inculcate the same in their lives.
The parents appreciated the efforts taken by the school in conducting special doubt clearing classes for the students of Class-X & XII and tele-counselling to remove exam fear and thereby made the students confident and competent to overcome challenges in their lives.
Outgoing students of Class-XII spoke about their memorable days and emotional connection with the Principal, teachers and school staff. The students of class IX, XI and XII showcased their talents with comedy, melodious song and dance.
The programme was well coordinated by the Admin Officer Mr . N. Sahu and a group of teachers.
