Dhamra, Jan.27 : 75th Republic Day was celebrated in Adani DAV Public School with great joy and enthusiasm. Students did a jamboree (Prabhat pheri) in the school and its adjoining village in the very morning.

Then the official programme started on the school campus.Mr. Mrunmay Kumar Manna, Assistant Project Officer, Adani Foundation joined as the Chief Guest and hoisted the National Flag. Then,he received the salute in parade from different platoons like NCC, SCOUTS & GUIDES, CUB-BULBUL and JUNIOR RED CROSS. Tiny-tots were dressed up in different traditional costumes and performed the roles of different freedom fighters.

The Chief Guest gave a clarion call to all the students to work whole-heartedly for the nation. Mrs. Rajiba Laxmi Mishra shared her views beautifullywith different quotations about the Republic Day. Students had performed different cultural activities like Dance, Song and Jhanki on the theme of ‘Unity in Diversity’. Mrs. Krishnapriya Sarangi, Principal of Adani DAV Public School delivered her speech about the great sacrifice of our freedom fighters. The Programme was coordinated by Ms. Swopnarani Subudhi. Ms. Sarojini Tripathy offered the vote of thanks.
