Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya students embrace eco-friendliness with a massive plantation programme

Malkangiri Odisha 8 April : Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Malkangiri took an initiative to combat climate change by organizing a plantation program for the G-20 New Delhi summit. The event was led by the school principal S. Sivaram and the chief guest for the program was Dr. Ranjan Kumar Swain, the Youth Redcross Secretary.
The plantation program aimed to create awareness among students about the importance of trees and their role in mitigating climate change. The students and staff members of the school actively participated in the program and planted 50 saplings in the school premises.
The event was held in conjunction with the G-20 Education Summit, which had the theme “One World, One Family, One Future.” The summit aimed to promote inclusive and equitable quality education and lifelong learning opportunities for all.
The Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Malkangiri’s initiative to organize a plantation program is a step towards creating a sustainable future.
