Joint Public Grievance Hearing Held in Dasarathpur; 47 Complaints Registered, 10 Resolved Immediately

Jajpur, Aug 24: A joint public grievance hearing camp was organised by the Jajpur district administration at the conference hall of the Dasarathpur Block office . Jajpur Collector Ambar Kumar Kar attended the camp and heard grievances and complaints from members of the public.
A total of 47 complaints were registered during the hearing. Of these, 36 concerned individual grievances, three were related to community issues and eight sought assistance from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. As many as 10 complaints were resolved on the spot.
Collector Ambar Kumar Kar said the complaints would be examined by the concerned departmental officials and appropriate action would be taken to resolve the issues of eligible applicants at the earliest possible.
SDPO Prashant Kumar Majhi, ADM Yudhisthir Naik, Sub-Collector Tapas Ranjan Dehury, Additional Chief Executive Officer of the Zilla Parishad Lambodar Khuntia, Chief District Medical and Public Health Officer Nagendra Nath Mahapatra, Deputy Collector in charge of the Grievance Cell Saraswat Sahu, Dasarathpur Block Development Officer Akash Pattnaik and Dasarathpur Tahasildar Subhranshu Sahu were among those present.
Officials from various district, field and block-level departments also participated in the grievance hearing and interacted with the complainants.
On the occasion, the district administration and District Social Security Department provided wheelchairs to Bichitra Malik of Bihari Gram Panchayat and Sanjukta Nayak of Khandara Gram Panchayat.
The grievance hearing was aimed at bringing the administration closer to the people and ensuring prompt action on public complaints and welfare-related issues at the local level.
