Kendriya Vidyalaya, Malkangiri Commemorates 3rd Anniversary of NEP-2020 with Press Conference

Malkangiri,28 July,2023: Today, Kendriya Vidyalaya in Malkangiri organized a press conference to mark the commemoration and celebration of the 3rd Anniversary of the National Education Policy (NEP-2020). The event was led by Principal Shri Iqrar Ahmad, who emphasized the significance of the NEP-2020 and its positive impact on the educational landscape.
The National Education Policy 2020, launched on July 29, 2020, by the Government of India, aims to transform the country’s education system to meet the needs of the 21st century. The policy seeks to promote holistic and multidisciplinary education, emphasizing critical thinking, creativity, and skill development among students.
Addressing the gathering, Principal Shri Iqrar Ahmad lauded the visionary steps taken by the government through the NEP-2020 and highlighted its fruitfulness during the past three years. He expressed his gratitude to the government for implementing the policy and emphasized how it has brought about positive changes in the education system.
During the press conference, the Principal also highlighted the key initiatives and reforms undertaken by Kendriya Vidyalaya, Malkangiri, in alignment with the principles of NEP-2020. He stressed that the school has been actively working towards creating a conducive learning environment that nurtures students’ overall growth and fosters their individual talents.
Moreover, the Principal acknowledged the importance of continuous teacher training to ensure the effective implementation of NEP-2020 objectives. He expressed his commitment to providing teachers with the necessary resources and professional development opportunities to enhance their teaching methodologies and keep up with the evolving educational practices.
