Malkangiri Administration Sends 93 Senior Citizens for Tirth Yatra

Malkangiri Odisha 27 March : Today, Malkangiri Collector Vishal Singh flagged off a group of 93 senior citizens for a tirth yatra from the Zilla Porishad Campus. This initiative is a part of the state government’s and Chief Minister Nabin Patnaik’s efforts to provide spiritual and religious experiences to senior citizens.
The group comprises of men and women above the age of 60 who will embark on a pilgrimage to various religious places across the country. The journey will be facilitated by the government, with all necessary arrangements made for their comfort and safety.
The Malkangiri administration has taken all necessary precautions to ensure the safety and well-being of the pilgrims during the trip. They have been provided with all necessary arrangements, including accommodation and transportation, to ensure a comfortable and hassle-free journey.
The senior citizens expressed their gratitude towards the government for this initiative and said that they are looking forward to this pilgrimage with great enthusiasm.
The tirth yatra is a traditional Indian pilgrimage that involves visiting various holy sites and temples. The government’s initiative to provide this experience to senior citizens reflects their commitment to honouring and respecting the elderly population in the state.
