MARATHON BY 6 YEARS RUDRA

Malkangiri. Today, a mini marathon was conducted in Malkangiri District as a part of Malyabanta Mohatshav and to promote the 2023 Hockey World Cup in Odisha. The marathon began in Korkonda and ended in Malkangiri, covering a distance of 15 kilometers.
Participants (200) of all ages and abilities took part in the event, including a 6-year-old boy Rudra Prasad Sethy who completed the entire 15-kilometer route,impressing both organisers and other runners. The marathon was flagged off by the Addl.S.P. Sri.Balabhadra Deep,DSO.Sri.Dhruba Ch.Muduli and ;DPM Mission Shakti Sri.Pabitra Mohan Bara.
The event was organized to raise awareness about the Hockey World Cup 2023 , which is inaugurated in Odisha . The tournament is expected to attract thousands of visitors to the state, providing a boost to the local economy.
