Kendrapada, Jan. 19 : The Union Minister of Ports, Shipping & Waterways and Ayush, Sarbananda Sonowal addressed a huge gathering as part of the ‘Viksit Bharat Sampark Yatra’ at Batipada Govt. High School Ground of Batipada G.P & Chakradhara Govt. High School Ground, Dahisahi of Singiri Gram Panchayat of Aul block in Odisha today. The Minister also offered ‘Shramdaan’ as part of Swaccha Teerth campaign at Lakshmi Baraha Jew Temple, Aul here today.

Speaking on the occasion, the Union Minister, Sarbananda Sonowal said, “It is a matter of great pride and satisfaction that India is being led by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji whose dynamic and inspiring leadership has ensured that the fruits of governance reaches everyone in the society. By nipping rampant corrupt practices of previous Congress governments in the bud, Modi ji has ensured that the progressiveness and inclusiveness in governance is executed in letter and spirit. Thanks to Modiji’s leadership, in nine & a half years, more than 25 crore Indians have been rescued out of poverty. The horrid days corrupt, inefficient and clueless governance under Congress, that was marked with people suffering from poverty, hunger & distress, are a thing of the past now. Let me assure you that the Modi Ki Guarantee will ensure welfare of the people and reinforce our commitment towards building a Viksit Bharat, an Atmanirbhar Bharat by the end of Amrit Kaal.”

Earlier, the Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal led a Swachata movement to clean up the temple campus at the Lakshmi Baraha Jew Temple, Aul as he offered Shramdaan as part of the ‘Swachha Teerth’ campaign. This cleanliness campaign is in line with PM Narendra Modi’s call for the cleanliness and cleaning up of temples ahead Pran Pratishtha of Ram Lala in Ayodhya’s Ram Temple on January 22, 2024.

Speaking on the occasion, the Union Minister, Sarbananda Sonowal said, “I am blessed to offer my humble ‘Shramdaan’ at the pious Lakshmi Baraha Jew Temple at Aul, Kendrapara today. Adhering to the clarion call given by the Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji, we must all do our best to offer Swachcha Seva in our pious and sacred places, as we look forward to the Pran Pratishtha at Shri Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. This has inspired people to join the spiritual resurgence that is sweeping across the country and beyond. Under Modi ji, we must commit and pledge towards building the most happy, healthy, beautiful & prosperous Bharat, and continue this movement until the ends are met.”
