Vibrant Celebrations Mark National Youth Day at Malkangiri College

Malkangiri,12th January 2024:- Malkangiri College celebrated National Youth Day with fervor and enthusiasm. Principal Prof. Lingaraj Mishra inaugurated the event, joined by Ashok Kumar Sadangi, Lecturer in Economics, as the chief speaker. Sadangi delved into Swami Vivekananda’s life, emphasizing his significant contributions to the nation and his pivotal role in guiding the youth towards a constructive path.
Dr. Ranjan Kumar Swain , head of the commerce department and Convenor of District Red Cross, presided over the programme, shedding light on Vivekananda’s impact and stressing the crucial role of youth in nation-building. The gathering, attended by teachers, non-teaching staff, and over a hundred students, witnessed a procession around the college led by students and staff.
The event, organized in collaboration with the College’s National Service Scheme and Youth Red Cross, aimed to inspire and motivate the youth by celebrating the ideals and teachings of Swami Vivekananda. It served as a platform to instill a sense of responsibility and purpose among the younger generation, encouraging them to contribute positively to the nation’s development.
