PM Modi to inaugurate Utkarsh Odisha-Make in Odisha Conclave 2025 in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar, Jan. 22: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set to visit Odisha on January 28 to inaugurate the much-anticipated Utkarsh Odisha-Make In Odisha Conclave 2025 in Bhubaneswar. This will mark his second visit to the state in just a month, following his address to the Indian diaspora at the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas Sammelan on January 9.
The Prime Minister’s schedule for the day includes his arrival at Biju Patnaik International Airport from Delhi at 10:35 AM. From there, his motorcade will head to Janata Maidan, the venue for the Make In Odisha Conclave, where he will formally open the event at 11:00 AM. PM Modi will remain at the conclave until 12:30 PM, engaging with business leaders, investors, and key policymakers. Afterward, he will depart for Dehradun in Uttarakhand at 12:55 PM.
The Utkarsh Odisha-Make In Odisha Conclave 2025, scheduled for January 28 and 29, aims to position Odisha as a leading investment destination. The two-day event will feature a series of high-level plenary sessions, focused discussions, and opportunities for thought leadership exchanges. It will provide a unique platform for global industry leaders and investors to explore the vast business potential that Odisha offers.
In a significant development ahead of the conclave, Singapore’s President, Tharman Shanmugaratnam, recently visited the state, announcing Singapore as the official country partner for the Make In Odisha program. During the visit, several Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) were signed between the Odisha government and Singaporean firms to boost the state’s economic prospects, particularly in the areas of manufacturing and infrastructure.
The Make In Odisha Conclave is expected to serve as a major catalyst for the state’s industrial growth, fostering key partnerships and attracting much-needed investment to propel Odisha’s economic future. With a focus on innovation, manufacturing, and sustainable growth, the event promises to be a landmark occasion for both the state and the nation.
