District Administration and District Police Assure Safety Measures Were Taken at Malyabanta Mohatshav

Malkangiri Odisha : The District Information and Public Relations Officer (DIPRO) has issued a press note regarding the stampede that occurred on the last day of the event. According to the statement, only three individuals sustained minor injuries in the incident. The administration has strongly condemned the rumors that more than 10 individuals were injured in the stampede.
On the last day of the Malyabanta Mohatshav cultural festival, a stampede occurred while concertgoers were trying to watch renowned singer Mantu Churia and Asima Ponda performance. Despite the efforts of the district administration and District Police to maintain order, three individuals were sustained minor injuries.
The statement also informs that the administration has informed the Press Council of India to take note of such journalism that spreads false information and creates unnecessary panic among the public. The District administration and District Police has assured that all necessary measures had been taken to ensure the safety and security of the attendees and that the event was conducted smoothly without any major incidents.
