RPF Balasore intensifies drive against trespassing on railway tracks

Balasore, Jan. 30: A 15-day drive led by RPF Balasore, under the supervision of inspector Dipak Kumar, continues to tackle the issue of unauthorized trespassing by vehicles, including two-wheelers and four-wheelers, on railway tracks. This dangerous activity poses a severe risk to train operations and public safety, as a collision could result in a major accident.

On January 29, 2025, during the ongoing drive, a trespasser was apprehended at kilometer marker 233/21-23, between Balasore and Nilgiri Road, near the Tamuliya Bridge. The individual, identified as Pratap Chandra Sethi (43 years old) from Tamulia, Balasore, was found riding a bike with registration number OR-01A-9325. He was booked under case No. 58/25 dated 29.01.2025, under Section 153 of the Railway Act, and his bike was seized.

This ongoing drive highlights the seriousness of trespassing offenses, with RPF Balasore committed to taking strict action to prevent such incidents in the future.
