Odisha / Gujarat, Oct 26 :  SakRobotix Lab Pvt. Ltd., Bhubaneswar, and Gridbots, Ahmedabad, have collaborated to accelerate the adoption of robotics-based cleaning and inspection solutions across government and private-sector infrastructure in India, with an ambitious target of achieving ₹100 crore in annual revenue.

Speaking about the development, Sakyasingha Mahapatra, Managing Director, SakRobotix Lab, said, “Our collaboration with Gridbots aims to scale Robotics-as-a-Service across India, targeting ₹100 crore in annual revenue through robotic cleaning and inspection solutions for government and private-sector customers.”

The collaboration will focus on robotic solutions for sewer cleaning, drainage maintenance, water pipeline inspection, water tank cleaning and inspection, and specialised cleaning and inspection of industrial facilities and critical infrastructure. The companies also aim to explore robotic applications for dams, rivers, and other challenging environments.

Through a Robotics-as-a-Service (RaaS) model, the collaboration will target municipal corporations, government departments, public sector undertakings (PSUs), industrial townships, infrastructure operators, and private enterprises across India.

Commenting on the collaboration Pulkit Gour, CTO, Gridbots said, “We are excited to collaborate with SakRobotix to deploy our indigenous advanced robotic solutions for sewer cleaning, pipeline inspection, and industrial applications, making infrastructure maintenance safer and more efficient.”

By combining robotics technology, engineering expertise, system integration, and market access, SakRobotix and Gridbots aim to offer scalable solutions that improve operational efficiency, enhance worker safety, and reduce human exposure to hazardous cleaning environments.

The ₹100 crore annual revenue target reflects the companies’ ambition to build a nationwide robotics services business addressing India’s growing infrastructure maintenance needs. The initiative also aims to promote advanced robotics adoption, strengthen India’s technology ecosystem, and create new opportunities for skilled employment.
