TPSODL Wins CSR Impact Award 2026

Berhampur, August 2026: TP Southern Odisha Distribution Limited (TPSODL) has been honoured with the CSR Impact Award 2026 for its sustained efforts towards creating meaningful and lasting impact across communities in Southern Odisha. Organised by the Department of Public Enterprise, Government of Odisha, in association with Odisha Corporate Foundation and Freadom Edu, the award recognises initiatives that have contributed to healthcare, livelihoods, skill development and community empowerment.
The event was inaugurated by Hon’ble Governor of Odisha Dr. Hari Babu Kambhampati, in the presence of Mr. Sukant Panigrahi, Hon’ble MP, Phulbani; and Mr. Rabindra Narayan Behera, Hon’ble MP, Jajpur; and Mr. Md. Sadique Alam, IAS, Commissioner-cum-Secretary, Department of Public Enterprise, Government of Odisha.
During the valedictory session, the award was presented to Sri Dillip Kumar Sahoo, Head-CSR and team by Mr. Sujeet Kumar, Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha. The session was attended by distinguished personalities including Mr. Tapan Chand, Former CMD, NALCO; Mr. Gagan Swain, Director-Finance, GRIDCO; and Mr. Arun Rath, Chairman, Centre of Corporate Governance, CSR & Sustainability, IIM Nagpur.
Speaking on the recognition, Mr. Amit Kumar Garg, CEO, TPSODL, said, “This recognition reflects the collective efforts of our teams, partners and communities. For us, the true measure of our work is the difference it makes in people’s lives. We remain committed to creating sustainable opportunities and meaningful impact across Southern Odisha.”
TPSODL’s CSR initiatives span several areas of community development. Its Mobile Health Dispensaries are taking healthcare services closer to communities in remote areas, while Lab-on-Wheels facilities provide health check-ups, pathological tests and medical consultation including medicines free of the cost. The company also promotes organic farming in tribal-dominated areas and supports livelihood opportunities through initiatives such as Manufacturing and Sale of Dhoopbati, Vocational Training, Chef Training and Beauty therapy Courses.
Through Anokha Dhaaga, communities are being supported with opportunities linked to traditional skills and livelihoods. The company also works towards youth skill development and employment, helping young people build practical capabilities and access livelihood opportunities.
Recognising the importance of holistic community development, TPSODL also supports sports and sporting talent, providing young people opportunities to develop their abilities and pursue their aspirations.
The recognition reflects TPSODL’s continued endeavour to go beyond conventional CSR interventions and create sustainable opportunities, stronger communities and meaningful change in everyday lives across Southern Odisha
